Action required 15 logged
Something in your account changes, or stops working, on a date unless you do something: a setting to switch, a tag or API to update, terms to accept or reject.
Heads up 40 logged
A change that can move your results, costs or setup and is worth checking, but nothing breaks if you leave it.
FYI 88 logged
A new option, report or feature you can use. Nothing changes unless you choose to use it.
Watching · unconfirmed 1 logged
Reported by a credible source but not yet confirmed by the platform. Upgraded or removed once it is.

What is AdShift?

AdShift is a free log of every official change Meta, Google, TikTok, Klaviyo and Shopify make that affects advertisers and DTC marketers. Each entry has the date, a plain-words summary, what to do, an impact level, any deadline and a link to its source. 144 changes are logged since Jul 15, 2026.

Where do the changes come from?

Platform changelogs, help centers, developer docs and official blogs, plus trade press and practitioners when they spot a change before the platform announces it. Every entry links to the source it was checked against, and extra sources are listed on the change page.

How often is it updated?

Every weekday. When a platform moves a date or adds detail, the entry is updated in place and marked Updated with the date.

How do countdowns work?

Deadlines count down to midnight Eastern Time on the date the platform gives. Once the date passes, the change shows "Took effect" and drops off the upcoming deadlines strip.

Do sponsors affect what gets logged?

No. Sponsors never affect what we log or how we rate a change's impact, and sponsored slots are always marked Sponsor.

Can AI assistants and feed readers use AdShift?

Yes. There is an RSS feed for all changes and one per platform, a deadlines calendar, a JSON file of every change, and llms.txt and llms-full.txt for AI assistants.
