Shopify Rollouts can now schedule and A/B test catalog changes, so per-market pricing can go live with your theme and checkout updates
What changed
Shopify's changelog (Oct 23) says Rollouts now supports catalogs. You can activate, deactivate or switch between existing catalogs at a set date and time to change product availability and pricing per market, run experiments between catalogs on your online store, and schedule catalog changes to go live in the same rollout as theme and checkout updates.
What to do
Build your Black Friday catalogs now and schedule them in one rollout with the matching theme changes, so prices, products and the storefront flip together. If you're unsure about a price point, test two catalogs before peak.
