July Demand Gen drop: Checkout Links in nine more markets and upgraded tROAS bidding
What changed
Checkout Links, which send Demand Gen clicks straight to your cart or checkout page, expanded to nine new markets. Google says advertisers providing checkout URLs saw 6% more conversions on average. tROAS bidding was upgraded to be less cautious early on, and purchases from YouTube ads via the Universal Commerce Protocol are available in the US.
What to do
Add checkout URLs to Demand Gen retail campaigns, and recheck tROAS targets as the new bidding ramps.
