Google Ads Data Manager API can now send call conversions and returns row-level diagnostics for failed records
What changed
The Nov 4 Data Manager API release adds call conversions: set call_info.start_timestamp on the event and identify the caller with a hashed phone number in user_data. Diagnostics for each ErrorCount and WarningCount now include record_indices (0-based positions of the affected records in the original request) so you can fix and resend only the bad rows. A new lead_id field in ad_identifiers can carry Google's lead-form ID alongside match_id for offline and multi-source events to Google Ads, Floodlight and Google Analytics; attribution on lead_id and match_id is not available yet, so keep other identifiers for now.
What to do
If you upload call or offline conversions through Data Manager (or a partner that does), ask them to send call conversions with call_info and to use record_indices when a batch partially fails. Until lead_id attribution ships, keep GCLID / enhanced conversions identifiers on those events.
