Skippable, non-skippable and bumper video ads now serve inside YouTube Playables games, with no setup needed
What changed
Google's video ad formats help page now lists YouTube Playables (casual games in the YouTube mobile app) as a placement for skippable in-stream, non-skippable in-stream and bumper ads. Ads can run before and during games. Eligible video ads serve there automatically; advertisers don't need to opt in.
What to do
Check your video placement reports over the next couple of weeks for YouTube Playables traffic. If it brings views but no sales, exclude it where the campaign type allows content exclusions, or judge it separately from your main YouTube placements.
